Time to Start Moving In!
Final Walk-Through Inspection
The final walk-through is your last chance to confirm the property’s condition and that agreed contingencies are satisfied. This typically occurs the day before or the day of closing.
Closing
At closing you, the seller, and the closing agent sign settlement documents. You’ll finalize loan paperwork and transfer down payment and closing funds—either by certified check or wire. After the deed is recorded at the County Recorder’s office, you take legal ownership.

Tips For Buying

Don’t Max Out Your Budget
Approval for a maximum amount doesn’t mean you should spend it all. Reserve funds for closing costs, taxes, and unexpected repairs.
Know the neighborhood
Evaluate schools, commute times, shopping, and long-term neighborhood health.
Never skip the inspection
A thorough home inspection reveals issues you may miss and lets you make informed decisions.

Get Pre-Approved
A lender pre-approval shows sellers you’re serious and ready to move forward.
